Well (clears throat) It seems I've been out for quite a bit! I figured it'd be about time to give ya'll an update.

POTC 2, only 3 more months until it comes out!

As for an update...nothing really spectacular has been happening of late. Lumos is only 4 months away and that will be fantastic.

School is school. I'm really trying to avoid hwk right now....evil thing that it is (nods) who agree?

well, I'd better run, get at least SOMEthing done...even if I really really don't feel like it..

(sigh)

Pirates are supposed to have fun, non?

Half-Blood Prince! Yeah! This book rocks :D

Okay, not saying anything more, don't want to give it away to anyone, but there are some seriously awesome developments in this book. Much better thatn OOTP in my opnion

So, to Spellbound 2005, to which I have just returned. I miss it already :(

Where to begin...wow...

Lets see.. yes Thursday. At the airport, due to weather conditions, we were almost delayed over 2 hours to get to O'Hare. Finally, the delay ended up to be only 45 minutes, so we got to Chicago in plenty of time. Met up with Julie and her roomie Jen, which, of course, they had the Draco sign for me :D

My friend Beth came with me and I knew we were going to have a blast. We went to bed nearly as soon as we got to Julie's apartment, already exhausted from that day. And the fact we had to get up at 7 am.

Friday comes around, excitement is starting to build. We got our costumes on, I think I had like...5 hair products in my hair to pull of Draco (which I must say, it looked sweet! Thanks Julie ;) )

Beth went as a punked out Slytherin, hair color and all. Julie went as Goth! Harry, which was pretty sweet.

On the way there, we had a nice little incident with a GutterHelmet truck. It would pass us... we would pass it...and again and again. We were so caught up in it, we missed the exit we were supposed to get off on and nearly went to Wisconsin! lol. But we got to Mt. Prospect and got a few comments about our Potter'd out car. We had written so much all over it, Dark Mark on the hood, Potter for Prez, Slytherins Rule, D.E (Death Eaters) forever, Padfoot 4 ever, etc.

We got our wristbands from Borders, since you had to get a certain number to know when you could get your book. We were 2, so that wasn't too bad, even though we got there at noon.

The day unfolded and the truly memorable moments were meeting up with a really good Snape and Dumbledore, volunteering ourselves to Azkaban (hey, we got chocolate! and got to sit. Not a bad deal :D ), meeting the only Lucius there (She rocked as a young Lucius. Father and son meet at last ;) ), watching as a Dementor (upon seeing lucius) chases her half way across the mall until she persuaded the Dementor to let her go, getting a warrent out for Draco and Lucius Malfoy and then seeing a group of Dementors chasing us across the mall. That was hilarious!

The costume contest at night, for the adults. There were over 100 contestants, I made it into the top 10. Which hey, that's perfect for me. Lucius, Boggart! Snape, Professor Snape, Dumbeldore, and a seriously awesome Hagrid made it to the top 5. Hagrid ended up winning, which was cool because his costume rocked

We got our book and I've been reading ever since. This was truly an event to remember

i can't wait until Salem 2005!!!!!!! OCTOBER!

Let's see..... to sum up so far.

I'm waiting to find out if I get my job *crosses fingers*
I've maxed out my entries in my cell phone for phone numbers, mostly guys, lol

I've had so much fun so far, its' awesome.
Trying to transfer to University of Hawaii, so we'll see how that goes!

Inuyasha rocks... really, it does. I'm up to episode 75 *started over again, watching the series* and it's all in japanese with subtitles, so it is so hilarious. I can't wait to see the movies. If any of you have the movies, please send me links or share files or something!

and.....lets see, classes, ugh.. well, they're classes, can't say much for them. I had my Greek exam last week, hopefully I did good *gets results tomorrow*. I just had a geography exam today... so we'll see how that goes. *sigh* I suppose I have to go to class to find out.

oh, and it rained today!!! HORRIBLE!!! damn rain... I was soak through.

But, it was funny, because, well here's the story.

I had a class clear across campus right? So I take the bus. Well, after class, I took a bus to this one building where I had to get my transcript *cuz I'm transfering* so I got that, then I realized, 'damn it, my next class, in 15 min, is all the way on the other side and it's pouring down rain'. So I stood at the door, not too happy and here comes this omg, so hot guy, seriously. And he has this massive umbrella. So I asked him where he was headed and it happened to be closer to my class. So he let me share the umbrella, thank god! Well, he went to class and I ran and ducked under the overhang in the student center. Then, who should come by, but one of my friends and he had an umbrella! And he was going to the building right next to mine.

So we headed there, the wind was awful! we still got soaked. And then, fromt that building, I went through it and ran to my class. When I got back to my dorm, I was soaked, it just wasn't cool.

BUUUUUTTTT, everythings' good now. I'm warm, dry.. has homework, but it's not too bad and I have physics tomorrow! which is somethign i love, so no problem there!

I swear.... I just can't seem to keep up with everything... SO, I'll give you all an overview.

First .. nasty ear infection, darn thing, I can't work out. But I did sign up for ballet, so this shall be interesting, since I've never done ballet. I'll soon get back into my figure skating, can't wait for that.

School... well, it's school. But I'd have to say Physics is my favorite *let's hope so, cuz i'm majoring in it, lol*

I just got done watching a hilarious episdoe of Inuyasha ... ya'll gotta love the show *grin*

let's see..... oh yeah.. OTTAWA!! I can't wait! *flips calender* time has to go quicker!

ok ... wow ... I haven't posted an entry for like .. forever, lmao!

so .. *rubs hands* here goes nothing.

past few weeks, uneventful.

BUT! I moved in Thursday to my dorm at college *grin* and I had my first day yesterday. Not saying I'm thrilled about being back in class ... but as for hte people, the parties! Hell yes! AWESOME. Love college, wouldn't want to do anything else.

I'm majoring in Astrophysics .. someone hit me now, lol

anyways ... okay, so, I was sitting in the lounge at the math building, waiting for my class to start, k?

my other one had finished early, so that was awesome, except I had 45 min to kill, so there I was, sitting.

Well, what do you know, but this really good-looking guy sits down to me. So .. being me, as you all know, I talk to anyone, so I started talking to him (hey, I was bored! had to do something other than stare at the wall).

We talked the entire time, and he was really nice. He's into computeres, (thank god!) so we traded cell #'s in case i needed him to help me .. our AIM is on the fritz at college, so he's looking into that.

he's 21, a junior .. not bad *grin*

so we've been hanging out the past few days, and it's been fun. THursday .. PARTY!! *jumps* yep ... thank god! nights are so boring here until Thursday.

Sooo .. college life .. i love it, what can i say!

Friday, going home for the nice long weekened ... no work until next week! so yes, very happy

And .. of course, my comp is fixed so no more bad uckky virus that doesn't let me talk to anyone!! *very happy too*

Figures it'd be me to get this damn virius. My computer keeps shutting down, I can barely get on before it does. I'm blocked from everyone, b/c I can't get on

My cell likes cutting out, b/c my house is just one big dead spot

bloody virius, messes everythingup. It's taking me like 5 hrs to try and download some software to fix it

watch out for this thing. It's called lovsan, and yeah, it's probably on your cpomuter. It lies dormant and then poof! it's out and messing everything up

Today, boring.... really, there's nothing to do. Yet I'm hyper, I dn't know why.

Work tonight, hopefully I'll make a lot of money ... so many college expenses ... I was looking at the prices and just when 'ola!'. And then, on top of it, I have no clue if my semester has been paid for, I have a scholarship, but who knows ....

BUT!! Good news, is that I got my parking pass!! One of the really hard ones to get and so I'm very excited on htat

..and i"m getting more of my costume stuff, working hard at getting everythign arranged for the train ride, etc

..I can't wait until December though!! BAHAHMAS!!!!

Hell yeah!

I just went and saw American Wedding last night .. hilaroius. Some of those moments ... I'm sure you all that have seen it ... the chocolate truffle ... I thought I was going to puke, seriously. OMG .. anyways, good moments, very 'feel good' moments too. And you know, Stifler, for all the crap he pulls, is really not that bad. He always ends up pulling through

Then, of course, POTC agin!!! this has to be my .. *counts tickets* 10th time!! I love it so much!!!

It is so hot and humid here and as I've said, my grandparents are here. And the BAD thing is that they won't let us turn on the air conditioner! They're walking aroundin sweaters and we're dying of heat in shorts and tank tops. Ridicoulus ... thank god I have work

though any other day work might not be that much fun, today, I'm grateful. nice, air-conditioned restaurant .. that's a relief.

then I get to figure out how much I work until school .... i am so broke, and money .. yes, I definietely need a lot of it. On top of all the HP things I have to purchase and have purchased, I need all my college stuff

life is life, deal with it day by day, that's what I do

This week .. I think has been a nightmare.

I love my nieces, but having them here for an entire week, was so exhausting. You had to be with them every minute, they're only 1 and 2 years old. Had to keep them entertained, had to try and fight to get them to go to sleep at times and diapers .. no fun there. And my oldest niece slept in my room, so I was forced onto the couch

yeah .. and my dad and brother were gone, so my mother and I had to do everything around the house and yard, on top of taking care of the kids

it was just overloaded and I'm so glad it's over. But now my grandparents are here and they're exhausting to deal with, being 86 years old. They forget everything. You tell them one thing one minute and the next minute, they've forgotten it, but as comes with old age

and THEN ... I"M BROKE!!! I need money .. so badly, and i might have to go on vacation, which is somethign I can't do, because I have to make money, for college and all the stuff for my room.

so yes, overloaded, moving on no sleep and ... yes, but life goes on I suppose and I'll live

lol, as long as I survive tomorrow.

Also, anyone who's interested .. we're taking a "Hogwarts Express" to Ottawa! COmplete with Bertie Botts, Cauldron Cakes, Licorice Wands, Chocolate Frogs and pumpkin Pasties, full out costume.

It'll be going out of Winser, MI *just outside of Detroit*

so far it's $146 for the ride and once I get a large group to the agency, it'll be cheaper at a group rate

Well, my search has officially begun. Getting ready for Ottawa, yes, I know, it's a year away, but I have tons of things to buy, costume parts, everything. A lot of it will take weeks to do and I am currently working on my LUcius costume *grin*

My brother and dad are leaving *grr* for a week and so I've got plenty of things to occupy myself such as WORK ... yes, lots of work. I think I went broke at NImbus, lol

Recovery ... always a good thing. I swear, I was so used to getting up at 7 a.m. every morning for Nimbus, I started doing that when I got home.

BUT! A good thing is that there is FOOD! At that hotel, the food was so damn expensive, I hardly bought anything. *puts note to bring food to NImbus 2005*

So I was very pleased when I got home and got some real food, other than cookies and water. This year is going to go so fast, and I've got so much to do to prepare for Ottawa

Okay, so who's all going to this big b-day "con"?

I sure as hell am going as soon as we get more info and everything.

An idea I had, was, depending on where ya'll live, I want to get a train out of Winster, which is on the outskirts of Detroit, MI. I'll figure out the times and so I'll keep posting the info as I get it. But if we can plan a time, we can all meet at the platfrom "9 3/4" and head on a train to Ottawa. It isn't that long of a ride and I think if we all had our gear and that, it would be a blast.

Okay ... wow *deep breath*. This might take awhile, lol.

To begin, I just got back from Nimbus and I had to say I had the best time. It was so much fun and I met so many people. I met Webba! *huggles* and of course Cassie Claire, Flourish and Lelola.

Thursday, though I think we could have had a better welcoming feast, I loved meeting all the people. The costumes were amazing that some people put together. Kozibot, you made the BEST SNAPE!!! As, of cousre, the Boggart Snape was awesome as well.

Lelola, you and Alex made the con with all your many costumes. It was great.

There were so many forums, I made a handful. I loved the Slash forums of course, being a slash fan myself (H/D, SS/HP, L/D, R/S to name a few). The Draco Redeemed was good but I loved the Snape forum the best. It was very interesting and there were a lot of good points made, as I'm sure a lot of you will agree

Though I heard the Founders Feast wasn't that great, nor the Luncheons, I know there was a group of us that were having a blast while these were going on. Friday night, we had Malfoy vs Snape, Narcissa vs Snape, and Snape vs. Snape. There was a guy that was taking pictures for the London Newspaper and we all got pictures taken!

Then, of course, Saturday, our true canon/movie! Draco showed up. It was so much fun, we had Potter vs Malfoy and tons of pictures as well.

Quidditch was a lot of fun and though I'm sure some of us may have not gone through unscathed, you have to admit, it was a blast! Movie night, of course, ROCKED. The first showing had a lot of slash comments already and I think I yelled myself hoarse with seeing Sev and Lucius up on the screen!

Class pictures were fun, specially when Draco (myself) and Snape (Kozibot) decided to go jump in the pictures with Ravenclaw and Gryffindor. Sadly, we missed the Hufflepuffs, lol. But of course, it was awesome that there were quite a few Hufflepuffs dressed up.

Oh, and I have a ton of pictures which if you want copies I can e-mail them to you, just give me your e-mail.

Hope you all had as good as time as I did!
